Which word is more frequently used: "pictures" or "photos"?

pictures are the best i think, and i think pictures of... is a better name.

But why do you make that choice?. Is it just because it sounds good to you?.
I want to pick the option that would be the most demanded search: pictures, photos, any other one?

I'd definitely go for "photo"

I suggest you to go for the "Pictures of Seville, Spain" and you can use also "photo of Seville" But more power full is picture you can find out here your self.

Did a quick search one google for Pictures got : 422,000,000 results for photos I got: 695,000,000 . But the contex the word is used is more importan for example pictures could mean photographs or cinema

photo has more searches and a much better search to competition ratio. Of coarse you'll have to use niche phrases as others have suggested.

photo is the more searches then picture that's why photo is the best.

You can't choose the keyword by the searching result from google and overture. You shall choose it based on your content. If it's related with photos, of course you shall use photo as the keyword. But its content is related with pictures like draw by human, snapshots, etc, how can you use photos as the keyword?

Based on the meanings of these 2 word, picture has a wide range, and photo only means images by camera. We can say a photo is a picture, but we can't say a picture is a photo.
