Default Yahoo! Directory?

Hi there,

I am wondering whether anyone in here suggests that I submit to the Yahoo! directory. It is something like $299 a year, and for that amount I want to know whether it is actually worth it or not.

I would love to hear from people who have already submitted to it if there is anyone. I am seriously considering it so please give me accurate information.

If it is worth it then I am going to definitely submit to it, as Yahoo! would probably draw loads of extra traffic my way...what do you think?

Regards,
Kieran Taylor.

Hi
I submitted one of my sites to the yahoo directory about 6 months ago. Google hasn't even picked it up as a backlink. I get about 3 hits a month from the yahoo directory search. I haven't seen any benefits from it.
I would save your money Kieran. I'm sure you can come up with a better way to spend 300 dollars.

The site i submited was www.rateanddateonline.com

Hi there,

I am not going to pay for the big daddy straight away, I am going to work my way up throughout the best directories, until it comes to Yahoo! but if I get a few bad feedback comments on it I won't even bother.

Thanks seowebtools.

Kieran Taylor.

If my website starts own money, the first thing I will do is to submit to yahoo directory. But the first thing after the website design is finished is to submit to DMOZ, though it's not working currently.

I am in Yahoo directory. It is only good for the link IMHO, I get zero traffic from it. It does help you in the Yahoo serps. DMOZ is a good quality link, but that is all, I am listed there as well. I would say that if you have the money you should get the link especially if you do not have a lot of 'high quality' links currently. Yahoo is considered a very high quality link just do not expect it to change the world for you.

i dont think that the yahoo directory worths 299$ . if you have 299$ to spent ads , i suggest you to submit paid quality web direcotry . it will be cheap for you
