 |  Lycos directory! Lycos have launched a directory, http://directory.lycos.co.uk It's $49 a year to get listed, It doesn't have any PageRank at the moment but I would expect it has quite a few juicy links, it is in association with Linkcentre.com.

 | Re: Lycos directory! The directory isn't backed by the search site Lycos, it's just got the same name. I hope you have much success, but if you do, it won't be because of any ties to Lycos.com. In fact, using a dog similar to the Lycos dog and the Lycos name is just asking for trouble. You might want to consider trying to distance yourself from any implications that you may possibly be somehow affiliated with Lycos. If not, you will most likely find your self without a site anymore, and possibly worse, it might cost you enough to ruin you financially. |
