Default FireFactor Review

Hi All,

I recently had a very bad experience with CoffeeCup software that I wanted to share in case you were thinking of using FireFactor (their SEO tool).

Against my better judgement, I bought their SubmitFire (what FireFactor was previously called) program for $79 and submitted PokerDIY.com, which was an ok service (had nice reports and keyword research tools). However, they then upgraded it to FireFactor without warning and tried to charge all the customers again for the privilege (another $79).

I think they saw sense though, so they sent out a coupon to join FireFactor for free if you were a recent SubmitFire customer. Only problem was that the coupon did not work (And it asked for your credit card details, despite being free - dodgy). I tried again a month later only to be told it had expired, so I patiently explained what had happened to their helpdesk only to be told that they had a problem with the coupon and now it was expired so I was left out of pocket (there was no expiry date on it, and spent a good two hours of my time trying to get to the bottom of this).

Eventually they contacted me again to give me a new coupon, but the it never materialized...

Has anyone else used CoffeeCup or FireFactor? I am highly peeved at being $79 out of pocket and I will definitely not recommend using any company who treats existing customer like this.

Hi all,

This story has a happy ending. In the end CoffeeCup sent me another voucher and I put my site through FireFactor.

I have to say that their report is actually quite good. It lists the SEO deficiencies of your site and a lot of other useful comparisons and reviews (like keyword density etc.)

I'll keep you posted...

Good to hear it worked out for you rodneyjoyce. I have to admit, after reading your first post, you've probably put a few people off the seo tool, but now that you've posted an update, it should be alright .
