![]() | Am I allowed to advertise my websites on other peoples Myspace? For example, when I make a post, can I post my website link also? Am I also allowed to advertise it on bulletins and so on. Thank you very much for your time. |

Yes assuming they don't delete you comment. This wouldn't count as a backlinks though, since the pages are dynamic and use sessions.

![]() | Alright, thank you very much for the helpful answer, bbott! Wait, that means that I can just comment them with my website url? Last edited 01-01-2006 at 08:45 AM. |

Yea technically, but most people will just delete your comment since you're basically spamming. Atleast leave some sort of comment and then link yoru site at the bottom if that's what you want to do.

![]() | Heh, I had a similar situation when somebody posted an ad to their site when they commented on one of my blog entries. Lol, he's like 13 or something, and when I deleted his comment but kept the legit. content, he threatened to sue ... LOL. I wouldn't bother with MySpace anyway ![]()

![]() | I'm also curious why he threatened you. What happened afterwards? |

| iWEBTOOL Staff | Advertising is against the MySpace TOS, just thought I would point that out. They ban accounts accordingly. |

![]() | That means we can't advertise via posting bulletin? |

| iWEBTOOL Staff | I don't believe so, read the TOS for yourself. Quote from TOS: Quote:

![]() | So is there any way while still staying ahead of the MySpace police to use the system to help promote your site? Even if it means providing some content to do so? I have been wondering about this for a while, and just want to know if a further investigation is warranted. From what DFB is saying, it is not, and any effort is likely to be squashed or hold little effect. |
