Default Thread Bump

I was sitting back tonight thinking about how i would like to see a thread or two bumped that i created a few weeks ago. I don't see anything in the board rules disallowing this unless i over looked it. I figured i would check with a moderator. If you are allowed to bump a topic how much time should go by?

I have been at this board for some time and have never seen it happen.

Default Re: Thread Bump

Bumping threads is allowed if you have some new information to add and more than a few hours have passed. Also, as in your case, after about 3 or 4 days, you can bump your thread.

If you have just recently made a post, say in the past hour, and you need to add info to it, then using edit in that case would suffice. Although there are no rules agains bumping threads, there are against double posting. I usually just merge the posts of the double poster and go on about my business.
