Hi guys

what tips and tricks are people using to obtain decent Search Engine Positions these days and also does anyone have a rough idea on when Google does its main dance.

There are few tips I would like to share with you:-

1. Unique content.
2. Right Title and Description tags.(Don't stuff keywords into them excessively)
3. Quality Backlinks (Relvent content, No of links on the page <20, Good PR)
4. Updation in the website weekly basis.

& Of course, Right Keywords to target.

its always good to use RSS feeds, specially if they open in a new window, that way your homepage will always be updated on a daily bases

Some people strive for years to get their domain show up in the first page of google, while some people just take few days. From DP forum this morning I knew one thing: if you search "seo blog news" in google, the fourth site is just launched 3 days.

good content and a lot of good backlinks is all you need

I found that directories helped me a lot with my site at the beginning. Getting quality backlinks is a tough job tough. How can I find out the best sites to link with?

Just type your keywords in the Google, Yahoo, MSN and check first 100 results. I'm sure you will find sites related to yours, alternatively you can use www.webconfs.com Backlink Builder tool.

Usually good content and proper not sloppy coding.
