Class in CSS and id?

Hi,
can anyone give a good explanation in the difference between an id and a class in CSS I've found that I can really use them interchangeably.. so is there a right time to use one or the other?

Class is what you use when you are going to reuse the CSS. ID is what you use if you are only going to use it once. I never use ID, I try to keep it simple so I just use CLASS elements.

ya he is right u sud always use class u avoid complications
