Smile Display area problems

Hi all,

Could you throw some light on this for me please?

We have built a site http://www.energyconservation.uk.com/

Its fine in 1024 by 768 screen display and below, but when you put it to 1152 by 864 the text moves into the menu bar on the right.

Any ideas of how we get around this?

Thanks
Dean

Default Re: Display area problems

You don't need to get rid of it. You have the Layer1 div set to position absolute with the left side of the element set to display at 300px. That means that the div element Layer1 will not move, no matter how big the screen gets.

By default, everything else is set to position:relative. You should think about redoing that page and using all div elements and get rid of the table.

If you want to quick fix it, keep the position:absoulte, but change the left:300px; to left:38%;
