Thats ok, Some time yahoo add some free sites and they can delete it too (free one only) Paid they cann't delete.... if site don't do legel activities anymore.. or site is down for long time.. site is no longer available..and other reasons..

To be listed in Yahoo directory is very important even if you have no hits from there. Other seach engines consider that link very high and it helps you to be ranked higher in that search engines.
Did you pay to be included in Yahoo directory? I tried to submit one my page there. I have not any result.

I've just got in sometime in the last 24 hours, Free listing, I'm very very pleased, I've been trying for nearly 2 years.

I've also now 3 days later (ish) been added to the UK directory as well, I think someone was asking about whether you get included into both so by the looks of it you do.

If you are suggesting your business or a site that is commercial in nature, it must be submitted to a commercial sub-category within the Business and Economy section of the Yahoo! Directory. I think can be done with a little patience and perseverance, advice I would have based on my own experience is;

1. Don't use a keyword rich title, just use your sites name.
2. Choose a relative Sub Sub category, I think you have more chances personally of being included in one of the deeper categories.
3. Register your domain for 5+ years (the longer the better), I'm convinced this helps, as the person reviewing your submission will see that you have long term plans for your site and that your not likely to be gone in 6 months time.
4. Add a note to your submission stating you are no commercial (if you are)

I heard even if your site is commercial you can get free listed if you submit inner page of your site that doesn't contain a commercial context. Did anybody try?
