How do one Get into Google Directory....Other than through DMOZ

Hi...Is DMOZ the ONLY route to enter Google Directory? Could anyone help? I am fed up submitting for Months to DMOZ which does not have category editors. Its almost dead...DMOZ. There are no editors...in most of the Regional Categories.

Please help me enter Google Directory!!

There is other ways, add you link to other directories and websites, Or submt your website map to webmaster section in google account if you have one.

yea thats wat i did, i submitted a sitemap to google webmaster section, didnt really help much lol, dont even know if im listed in the google directory

When launching a new site, if traffic from Google is critical to your plan for success you need to plan ahead. Get the site out there and linked to as early as possible and plan to run an AdWords and/or Overture campaign for a few months until the site can be established in the editorial results. Yahoo and MSN do not have this delay built in, so focus your early efforts on these engines.

Don't worry, Google will eventually give your new site the respect it deserves -- just give it time.

Agreed for the time being it is impossible to get into the Google Directory, hopefully they will stop using Dmoz data soon.
