![]() | I've been trying to embrace designing web pages using DIVs instead of tables, as they are easier to control and provide an additional layer of presentation separation (layout from content). However, I see the layouts often look different on IE, FF, and Opera. Is there a guide on the how-tos and the gotchas of designing for these browsers? I feel like I'm back in 1998 designing websites using Frontpage.... if any of you still remember the nightmares. |

But there isn't a work around that I know of unless you know the exact size that the DIV will need to be, because when using percentages(%) to determine the height of a DIV in CSS, IE does it different. My suggestion is to just keep messing with it, and you'll come up with something that looks nice and is designed right. |
