Search Engine Traffic for Article Directories

I am finally starting to get some search engine traffic for my articles directory.

Are others here who operate an article directory experiencing poor traffic, good traffic, or mediocre traffic? And how long have you been at it.

If you traffice is really good, how long did it take to get there?

If you accept free submission and fast approval, I think your traffic will be more than you expected.

I have been running a site for a little while with little results. But, it is my fault because I have thousands of articles to approve and I can't keeep up with it.
