Default suggestions for ext hard drive

I'm in need of a back up hard drive & would like suggestions. At the moment I'm looking at either a

Beyond Micro / Mobile / 250GB / 7200 / 8MB / USB 2.0 / External Hard Drive for $119.00 with a $50 rebate

Western Digital / MyBook Essential / 80GB / 7200 / 2MB / USB 2.0 / External Hard Drive for $89.99

Naturally I'm thinking bigger is better (and cheaper) with rebate, but being the webmaster wanna be that I am, I'm lost.

I'm looking at TigerDirect which y'all can link to thru my affliate banner on shipping page and spend lots of money so I get rich

Well at work we needed a couple of cheap NAS units for separate storage. Went with a company called Infrant with their model 1000S. That might be a little more than you need but they do have an entire line of external storage for home and soho use as well.

Check them out at infrant.com

Maybe you could take a look at :

I do have a Lacie for a couple of years now and I'm really happy with it.
Nevertheless, they have a nice design (important too for me)
