Default Indexing Why Does Google Not Update
The googlebot has been to the website at least 75 times and has taken alot of data but our keywords for search have never changed to the new ones. We updated our website with a new set of keywords and rewrote almost the entire thing. Google never shows our site when we search the new words but we show if we search the old keywords. Is there a way of having the googlebot index the new words? We are not de-indexed but on an index checker google shows 0 pages and yahoo shows 6, msn 4, altavista 6. What can we do?? We show up number one on our old search words with google and don't place in the top 500 with our new ones.

Google, and most internet search engines, ignores the keyword meta tag. You can update them till your blue, and it won't do any good. Nowadays, you must get IBL's(inbound links) with your keywords in the anchor text of the IBL.
