Quick question. How many people on here use Adsense templates and are they as cracked up as some people say they are? It seems that everytime I do a search online for anything at least one result on the first page is an Adsense template site.

It's like any site. SERPS is all to do with the backlinks and content, nothing to do with what template is used.

I think these templates are merely meant for conversion rate...by now everyone knows what works and what dosen't...

these templates have nothing special...a 336 box thats it...and a a link unit on the top or on the side bar...

nothing special there...

everything or rather most of the things depend on the fact stOx pointed out...backlinks and good content...

I think the above comments are all true. Adsense templates is not a magic bullet and will not get tons of high search engine rankings based ont he template. The one way backlins are what will do it.

However, with that said if you are not a designer or want to save time the templates can be a helpful starting place. Or for those just getting started with adsense. For most of the old hands like the guys above it is nothing new and same old info you can find on any forum. For the new guys out there having someone design and set it up for you can be a big time saver and mean that you are able to build sites more quickly which will raise earnings in the long run.
