I think it will in some form still exist. I just hope it hasn't been taken over by the large corporations by then.

I think every human will have a USB addon. Everyone will be able to upload and download their thoughts directly through a USB driver. And google will fallen down as a search engine.

By 2020 we will have lost all of our technology and even the worry or want to bring it back.

In the end of 2012 our galaxy will be entering the photon belt. This is a cycle we hit every 26,000 years. The Mayans knew all about it and show this in their calendar. Just about every religious texts reference this time of strife. It is said to last about 7 or so years. During this time between 70-90% of all life on Earth will die off. The remaining will only be concentrating on basic survival and perseverance.

We can see many of the signs already and ever increasing until we enter the photon belt. The poles are shifting, our galaxy is showing warming signs (not just the Earth) increased sunspot activity, dramatic weather patterns etc. Welcome to the age of Aquarius, and say goodbye to Pisces.

Can a human body sustain that kind of speed? For theory it sounds good but in reality its imposible.

Edit: I take that back. Its possible to travel at the speed of light and human boday can take that.

Actually time travel is possible and it does happen all the time. It be hard to explain right now. They have done a test some years back. Two atomic clocks were selected. One stayed in place and the other was put on the plane and flown around the earth. When the second clock came back to the same spot it was late by some milliseconds. From that the calculation showed that if one is to travel to the center of the Galaxy and back he/she/it would come back more than 600 years behind times. My digits aren't exactly right. So don't quote me. I have a difficulty with memory. But it is true. And one does not need to travel at the speed of light to travel back in time. My side hobby is studying physics and related fields and You'd be amazed at what kind of lies they teach people in school.

As to what the world is gonna be like in 2020 I don't know. But I am pretty sure that we are still going to be here and are going to still be fighting amongst each other for no real reasons. That is what the true nature of humans is. Unless of course some Green Martian shows up and enslaves us. But for that he/she would have to be really dumb. Cause it is also in human nature to resist anyone who is oppressive. Which is the biggest contradiction in humanity. We like being led as long as there is no leader.

What will happen in 2020????? Honestly I don't think 2020 will be much different from 2007. Of course things will change & technology is an ever growing thing, so there will be changes. Though do I think the world will end anytime soon? Not at all. Do I think in just 13 years everyone will be driving flying cars? Not at all, they already have some of this stuff invented, but not pratical. Maybe it could becoem more practical by then, but I think things like electric cars will become more practical. that way to rob someone you have to slice off a finger, then that person has to sit on the phone for 20 hours with visa trying to get their money back to their index finger.
