Unfortunately fighting is in a mankind's nature, but the war against terrorism I personally think is for the good of the world. But...as you say, there may be nothing left because of nuclear fusion. Can't wait for the integrity of Internet speeds then though .Regards, Kieran Taylor.

![]() | In 2020? i guess there would be billions of hi-tech gadgets lying around. Like those being used on popular movies such as MI, 007 and the like. The number of hackers will also increase and definitely more PC's would be hacked. And new viruses will also be released ____________________ Australia Travel |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There will no longer be a need for a coputer, as we will all be interconnected through a terminal, internet speeds will increase 100 fold, as will processor speed, and as of now, there is no need for a single computer with that much power in the hands of typical computer users, so one computer will be divided amongst hundreds or thousands of users that connect with a terminal. This computer will be known as a "mainframe". Instead of buying bandwidth from the communications giants, we will be renting diskspace and processor power. Technology advances in the field of engineering will make leaps and bounds with newer and more economical ways of producing C26(carbon) and buildings will grow to more than 1 mile in height, and will house complete cities within their walls. Hover cars are already possible, but their usefulness in society will continue to keep manufacturing prices too high. It would be cool, but there are too many safety issues involved with this and their functionality would be no different than the ground bound automobiles of today. In 2017, the first manned mission to Mars will take place. If you would like to take a glimpse at the future, any Arthur C. Clarke or David Brin novel could help you out. The dates may or may not be accurate, but the ideas are solid and based on real science as we know it now, or speculate it in the very near future. As far as time travel goes, we all do that everyday, every time the clock ticks, or you take a breath, you are traveling through time. The vehicle we use to traverse the fabric of time is known as the universe, and to reverse the movement of time for one atom would mean that the entire universe would also have to go in reverse, and therefore, no part of the universe would ever be aware of time travel. Not to mention that if time travel were reversible, how dangerous would it be, knowing now that the people who would posess this powerful tool would be the same people who posess nuclear weapons, only time reversal would be far more destructive in those persons hands than nuclear bombs could ever be. |

I personally think that time travel is the peoples answer to evil an should be kept well away from. It is a lot worse than the powers of nuclear fusion! It is something that would be interesting to discover although it is a little scary to think of. Regards, Kieran Taylor.

| Junior Member | By 2020 we (internet entrepreneurs) will be celebrating tremendous amounts of traffic after the internet has spread to undeveloped parts of the world such as africa and other emerging markets. I cant afford to wait though I would be in my mid 30s then God willing! In the web only the traffic savvy will survive and I wonder what will come next after SEO!

![]() | IMHO: Quantum computing will either be pervasive or becoming pervasive. As far as flying cars, I believe that the connection between gravity and magnitism will have to be better understood. Or at least someone will have to find a way to use electromagnetic force to shield objects from gravity. I have a theory about what gravity is and why the universe is expanding if they want to here about it. Time travel is believed to be theoretically possible. It is believed that if you could form or use a naturally occurring wormhole and rotated one end at very high speeds (preferably near the speed of light) that one end would progress through time normally and the other would progress through time at a much slower speed, relative to the rest of us. This means that the two ends would be in different times. It also means that you would never be able to travel back before you started rotating one end of the wormhole. But, the ability to travel back in time would be possible under these conditions. I got some other crazy theories about the universe also, but I don't want to bore anybody.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi there, Well to travel back/forth in time would be simple if you could travel at the speed of light. For instance if you traveled around the world at this speed it would only take one rotation before you was already in front of yourself, therefore you would be going back in time. Scary but true. Regards, Kieran Taylor. |
