Article Scripts?

Hey,

Anybody know of any good, free article scripts where users can sign up and submit articles, or LINKS to articles? (e.g. title, description, then a link to the article.)

Hm, nope, not quite it...

You know what I might do is just create a heavily modded directory script, like from phpLinkDirectory.

How do you get article script out of directory? It is easier to code one for yourself than to bother modding other peoples scripts.

I don't ever recall anyone distributing an article script freely.

Might be some out there but I have never seen one. I think most of the article sites out there have rolled their own script.

This is very interesting, especially since I am thinking of doing the same thing and already have a domain name ready for this purpose.

Costs money.

I'll just write my own, but ya know... phpLinkDirectory can be easily skinned and fitted to link to external articles.
