![]() | Hello everyone, I'm just wondering, if it is important how your web site looks like? Some SEO specialists think that the simpler the better... Thanks... ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Simple and elegant, that's my opinion too. It does matter, you have to have a web site that appeals to your visitors, and gives them a reason to want to stay. But that really doesn't have anything to do with SEO. SEO is techniques to use to improve your Search Engine query results position. SEO is getting the users to your site, Web Design is keeping them there. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | seo is extremely important but...i tend to agree with jumpenjuhosaphat. If your site looks good (and has interesting content) your visitors will come back. And that's important too.

![]() | I agree with Jumpen also. Search engine placements aren't everything - they are the means to an end. The "end" is getting people to go to, and stay on, your site. And doing that requires good design, and a nice appearance and content.

![]() | I think the design is very important and you should spend a lot on it, it will keep your visitors at your site after the initial reaction. Plus, its eye candy ![]() |

![]() | I think both are important. Do SEO on your site for search engine, and do the design for your human visitors ![]() |

![]() | I have lots of websites that i have bought over the past few years and some have had work to the design of them and others are just as there where when bought as i am no good with scripting but i have found if they look plain and lifeless they dont get many people joining ... if any so i think if you spend on a site getting it to look lively and interesting people are more likely to join but then again you have to have interesting stuff inside once they have joined or they just get bored and dont come back. |

![]() | If a site looks good the person viewing tends to have a look around more...im not saying that you have to have flash or anything complicated on it...but the layout, colours etc should be nice and the text should be easily read. Hope this helps ![]()

![]() | Remember, to always be the viewer before you actually start developing the website. better yet, pick 10 websites that are in the same field, and show all 10 websites to random people, ( mother, father, sister, brother, friends, coworkers, etc. ) get their opinion and see what they say, which site they enjoyed most, which site was the friendliest, which site grabbed their attention, etc. from there you can come up with a plan. Remember, if your site already has good, fresh and unique content which people are looking to read, your visitors will stay and read and enjoy. BUT, to have a nice, simple, clean and powerful logo, design, simple navigational website, your viewers will stay longer, and they might even bookmark your site to visit at another time. Keep it simple, keep it powerful and keep it unique. ![]() good luck always
