hi guys,
need a review.....building this new directory http://www.1gt.org/
I realize I need to add more categories and a submit button, etc. but I primarily wanted your imput regarding the color scheme and general design more than the directory specifics, as that will come with submissions....

The header graphic is grainy and doesn't look professional. Also, the background color of the graphic is different than that of the pages background color. It doesn't look right. The page is very simplistic, there is really not much there to grab a users attention, nothing that tells a visitor why they should navigate further into your site. Perhaps you could add some content to the front page, or some more color, maybe a news feed, something to liven it up a bit.

I would suggest you create a new professional header graphic, or hire someone to do it for you. You can find plenty of able bodied people here to design your graphic for you. I am available for this type of work, and Mr. Alan makes some great graphics to. All you have to do is ask for a quote. You may even get lucky, and someone might be willing to design one for you for free.

Add content, something that tells about your site, it's services, your mission statement, etc.

Add colors or graphics, make your site look interesting by making it appear livelier.

Nice site. but, It takes more time to load. And the graphic used doen't look like professional. There are so many improvements needed.

Good site, but the only downpoint is that it takes time for it to load, but other than that keep up the good work.

The banner is to much.
It gives me a headache if i look at it more than 5 seconds.
I lost interest in the site before the main page fully loaded.
You must get some content on the main page to keep the bots from starving and users.
Im not sure that html is the best solution for what you are trying to achieve.
