please review the design

hi please review this design, i have made. i would like to get reviews because i want to design the whole site.

Well, i think that the new design with the black or some dark background doesn't look so good, so i vote on the older skin

i have changed the colors of the design. ive made the color scheme somewat similar to the other design.

took a while to load. not really fond of the colour. plus i think you should try and lighted it up with pics then you should have something happening there.

The graphics are too much. You should consider getting rid of the background image and opting for a solid color, or using a much smaller image and repeating it. Also, you should change the graphics so that they blend into the background better. I to would vote for the old design.

i like the website, it has some good contrasts with the colors, but the down point is that it takes a bit of time to load, but other than that it is a good design keep it up!

there is no background image.the background is just white. and for the long upload time to upload ill try to reduce it.

The background image on the new design. It is a black background fading to white. It is 165KB or so, which is really big. Dial up users might take 1 or 2 minutes to load. If you change that out, that'll make your page load twice as fast.

i have reduced the background file size, and i also have changed the color of it to green fading out to white. i also have changed the links on the left of the page similar to the ones i have on my original (present design).

Hi,

Don't wanna sound rude but...I really don't like the shadow-effect you use around the titles and logo.
It makes reading of text and recognizing of the logo very difficult.
The green and white combine wel, but maybe you should add some graphics to add a little more colour to the site.

I forgot : Look at the difference between your logo on the site and your avatar on this forum. The avatar looks nice and sharp...but on the site the shadow-thing makes it to "heavy"

thanx for the review. ok i have added a background image to give the site a complete look.i hope that is not too distracting.
i also have fixed the logo. i have reduced it's size, to reduce the pixelatng and to make it sharper. for the titles, ill start work on that.
