gays.com sold on Sedo for 500.000 US-Dollar to Julius and David Dreyer from Germany.

The new owners said to Sedo that they want to build a new Gay-Portal with this Domain. (Aint that the perfect domain for it )

Hi there,

If I had that money I would of definitely purchased that website and opened a gay community portal, think how much money that would make you! It is a dictionary word, and it's a top end domain extension, jeez 500k was a little cheap for it if you ask me...good buy guys.

I would say that's a fairly realistic price. Surely the ideal domain would be just gay.com (singular). I guess that's worth a lot more.

as truely said, some domains are sold just cause they mean to be sold away.

I wish i make a better site rather than just a domain.

Not really, it is obviously worth more than that, and is almost guaranteed great revenue. If they spent half a million on a domain, they obviously know what they are doing .
