![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I dont know if anyone can help. A while ago i was signed up to google adsense and happily dispaled ads on my site. Now to cut a long story short a competitor of my decided it would be funny to "go mad clicking" on my site. This caused me to be banned. I did appeal even with the ip address of the "mad clicker" but lost appeal. Any ideas on how to get either reinstated or get round the system (legal ideas please)!!! ![]() |

![]() | re-register? Once you upset google, even if its not your fault its not even worth trying to appeal, you will always loose. There are so many click frauds out there that google just dont give second chances mate you should keep an eye on your google adsense account and if you see a dramatic increase in your clicks contact google and enquire about it before they ban your account. Google are actually more then happy to help, i had some kid who kept clicking mine, i used to display them on my anticheat site, a cheater thought it would be funny to abuse my google adsense account with the intentions of getting it banned. All i did was contact google and they sorted it instead of killing my account |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That would be great if you could tell when and if someone was clicking on your ads. The problem with that is it's impossible to tell. How did you know that the cheater was doing it? |

| Junior Member | I'd like to know how to check as well. I just signed up for Adsense and after losing going up against eBay, would rather not try with Google. I imagine it would be lose whether right or wrong as with ebay. |

![]() | All i did was check my stats, normally it averaged from 20-40 clicks a day (legit) then one afternoon i checked and it was up to nearly 200 clicks and my ctr got higher to, so me, being a little over paranoid contacted google just to enquire about it and it seemed i was right to do so, i was being targeted and they just removed the invalid clicks, and i banned his ip There are actually tools to prevent this to, most you gotta pay for but they are pretty effective. I will do a little more research in to preventing click fraud and put together an article on my adsense site |

If you do put together an article on click fraud would you mind if I linked to it from my site? I get some questions now and again from people who got banned who would like to know how they could have prevented it.

![]() | There's a firefox plug-in which allows you to keep tabs on the ad-senses stats while you browse. http://code.mincus.com/3/adsense-notifier/ Any help to anyone? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, if there is anyway to track the IP's and when they click, I think that would be very useful information. When you contacted google, they actually got back to you, it wasn't an automated AI responce? |
