What to think about promotion made by automatically software

software is follow only some criteria not understand the visitors mood, so i want to suggest you that you can take help but not fully depend on the autometic software...

Definitely better to submit manually. Some search engines requires site map as well. Make sure your website is well optimized and has all the necessary meta-tags to fully benefit from it.

Yes I agree with look4edmund, but what you have to think about is what type of audience your trying to market/optimise your site towards, there maybe certain advanced options within the software you use to filter certain submissions but never rely on software for a service that needs a great deal of care.

I used submitwolf years ago. Maybe in the late 1900's. I guess for building backlinks it may have some value, although you may end up on a lot of PR0 pages and bleed PR if you're above that.

I tried out the software digiXMAS Submitter that was mentioned either here or on SP. Did the submissions and got tons of emails back. Not sure if its related but my traffic jumped slightly since then. The link popularity tool only registerd about 4 new IBL's since then but its only a couple days ago so I'm giving it time.

I think...doing better on-page seo...well...

and doing everything off-page correctly will help you greatly...

I think softwares...have a limitation...so mannual submissions are better..

What do you mean, "bleed PR"? Your PR is never effected in a negative way because of what pages link to you.

I have used digiXMAS, and it gives you control over the entire submission process. What this software does is takes you to the submission page of each directory, and fills in the forms for you. It then retrieves any Captcha images and you have to enter the captcha manually, and select the category you want to be listed in. It is a semi-intelligent program, in that it tries to determine what category you would want ahead of time, and it usually does pretty good.
