![]() | Hi For the moment we cannot afford a SEO campaign so could someone recommend any tools free or not. I have tried free tools for backlinks, keywords etc and do not understand why results can vary SO MUCH. Our language courses at http://www.movingoncourses.com are always open to exchanges. all the best gavin |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The best SEO tool is patience. Okay, I know that was corny. The best tools are here at http://www.iwebtool.com/tools/, and at http://www.google.com/webmasters/ Beyond those tools, for more detailed SEO information, there aren't any tools that I know of that can beat knowledge and experience. This forum is a great place to learn about SEO techniques. Oh, and here is an article I wrote about a study on high ranking SERP's sites. http://mothfiles.blogspot.com If you need anymore assistance, please be sure to post your questions here at iwebtool and we'll try our hardest to help you out in any way that we can. |

tks for post. I have read your article and fortune study but remain a little confused. Having read study (and having limited time) i think i should concentrate on IBL quality but i am unclear what determines IBL quality. The fortune definition: In-Bound Link (IBL) Quality. This is a measurement of key elements on the page containing an in-bound link which, in combination, influence the link reputation for the target of the link. This is the only factor that had the same level of relative influence across the search engines and happened to be the most influential in all cases. I assume this refers to the PR and factors such as number of links on that page, position of my link on the page etc. Could you pls clarify. Incidentally, my alternative interpretation of the fortune study implies that the quality of the page that receives the link (mine) is important. tks gavin | |
