free sub domain help

Im buying an established hosting company this week but few problems I see is that when people sign up they have to register a domain name, how can I change that to offer free sub domains and also they only offer to register dot com names how can I change that so it registers .org/.info etc.. thanks

If you are using cPanel/WHM, you can set up sub-domain accounts easily, it's the same as when you create any other account, only the account name would be sub.yoursite.com. If you are not, there are various scripts that can help you to accomplish this, as well as set up directory accounts, look at http://www.hotscripts.com, they have alot of everything there. As far as the TLD's go, I think you will have to check with who you are buying them from to enable .org and .info.

Do you mean you would like to offer sub domains for free, but regular domains not ?

Most cPanels allow you to add sub domains for free. It's already standard. Hostgator is charging only 9.95USD to host 999 domains. They are already swallowing up all the competition.

You don't seem knowledgeable in the Hosting Business. Why are you jumping into the Abyss?
