![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is a poll to find out what your opinion is on content managment systems. I have never used any of these, but I am possibly interested in trying one. I want to build a website that is community based, with a forum, polls, image galleries, news, etc. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi there, I added one in the poll for you called Subdreamer, it is brilliant. I own a full license on it and I don't regret it. It has so many add-ons and is so fast it is unbelievable. Regards, Kieran Taylor. |

![]() | CMS system which will suit you best will depend on your requirements Like for my (http://www.icesociety.org) website I found MDPro from maxdev.com to be more suitable than any in your list I will recommend you to test different cms systems yourself check out this site - http://www.opensourcecms.com/

| Member | My choice isn't listed here, but I am a pretty big fan of MkPortal, allthough I often get myself into trouble installing mods hehe The portal was the only one that I was able to find that offered absolutely everything I wanted in a CMS ... Including blogs, PMs, Reviews, Downloads, Shoutbox (which i have learned ppl can highly abuse, and usually disable) gosh.. lotsa things about it I love but I do think it's really a matter of personal choice .. just have to find your sites fit. I also really loved the look of Xaraya, but I'll be darned (hehe @ darned) if I could get it to work! I'm just really not that bright sometimes LOLCathy

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There are more CMS's than there are available options. Unfortunately there can only be 10 choices, and there are hundreds of possibilities, so I put up the most popular scripts. If you like a CMS not listed, then like Kieran said, just mention it in bold. |

![]() | I use RLLCMS. It's Simple yet effictive. RLLCMS Basicly is a combonation of all the RLL scripts in one big really over the top script. Since i started using it my PR has gone up to PR 5. It SEO's the website page for you so it saves a lot of time. It does not use any javascript and most things are done server end. |

| Regular Member | From a pure user perspective Joomla would probably be the best pick. Easies to tweak and add on to, and seems to have more of a straight forward approach that is easily 'understood' right away by even novice webmasters. Most of our client base with installed CMS systems have a Joomla preference. From a developer perspective I would have to choose Subdreamer however. This is mostly due to the backend architecture, and database schema. |
