That's something else. That makes it alot easier than using the P2P programs, they tend to be unstable and unreliable. Thanks for the info Kenni.

I Prefer P2P over Google For MP3s

This Shouldnt be called a Hack

What They are doing is that Most Downloads have Description , title in them and they are using those search terms to get results

No one said it was a hack , and no it isn't. People should take care of protecting their directories if they don't want people freely looking through them.

They can't, they aren't braking any laws. Google does what it does, searches your sites, if you can't be bothered to protect your directories then it is your liability not Google's.

I bet this is available from most big search engines actually. I mean http://www.dogpile.com/ already comes with a feature to specifically do this. Hope you get what I am saying.

It is stupid to have files you are trying to sell or keep hidden for users in the public htm folder anyways.
If you want to protect your downloads you would not do something like this.

/home/myuser/public_html/whateverfolder/stolendownload.mpg

What they should do

/home/myuser/smart/notstolen.jpg
