   |  The profile click share thing? I loved the place in my profile where I get to share in the adds in threads I participate in, but it brought a question to mind.. Now don't stop clicking before I get rich... but.. I'm thinking this means I should refrain from clicking google adds in threads that I participate in? ~LadyH |

 | Re: The profile click share thing? You can click the ads because when you're logged in, the system will automatically hide your own adsense settings so you can't click your own ads. Check out the FAQ over here. Quote:

I had heard about forums having the google add share thing months ago, but adsense and online gambling don't mix, so at the time it was irrelavant to me.. Here's a funny though.. I hate to 'miss out' on something y'know.. i think the first forum i saw the adsense share program (what the heck is it called anyway?) on was DDBoard.. they don't have it anymore, but i went to ALL my online buddies, trying to get SOMEONE's info to put in there.. yknow noone would go to the trouble of looking it up

| Re: The profile click share thing? Y'know... I've been giving this some thought... I have been back and forth about offering this on my own forum as well... It would be really cool if you could tie in the current mod .. with referralls, if the percentage of adds shown went up 1 for each referall you had that month or somethin like that... I love that it encourages posting, would be awesome if it encouraged referalls as well
