The purpose of the site is to provide information for amateur astronomers and astrophotographers of various levels of expertise. I'm writing some of the content myself, and getting reprint permission from others who have written decent reviews or tutorials.

The site has only been up for about two months, so it doesn't yet have good ranking. So far it's gotten around 450 unique visitors and around 4100 page views. Only 25 of the unique visits came from the search engines, most came from astronomy forums.

I guess we're not supposed to get specific about about CTR, but mine has been pretty bad.

Anyway here is the home page and two pages showing the two types of adsense ads I've used.

Just a little remark...why not the same grey for the background of the site and the background of the adds...
In my opinion it would be better. But of course, I can be wrong. Maybe someone else had better ideas ?

You adsense banner is far to small to be seen. I had to look carefully to find those ads. Why not place the Leaderboard (728 x 90) across the page instead? You'd more than likely get some attention on the ads.
