Why was iwebtool down for one full day?

Hi,
Just want to know as to why iwebtool was down on i think xmas eve said the server has been moved and stuff like that?

I'm assuming they changed servers since their DNS changed. Guess they had some dow time during the transfer.

They're back up and running strong now though, that's all that matters!

Oh did not even know that, was busy on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day!!

Anyways, yes, I moved sites many times and domains moved too and whenever we did that, the site/domain has to go around the world and back a few times. That tends to take a few days and it's real irritating and yet interesting as well. Sites appear in some states or countries and then in other areas the site is off line, then later it appears again like magic on the new server.

We changed servers because our previous was getting too much traffic, and had to much files, or something like that.

iWEBTOOL now has a dedicated server, enough room for the rest of us. Previously, the bandwidth was about to exceed its limit and a dedi was required

Oh great new server for the site , so more speed i suppose. Good to know , i thought it was going down or something.
