Kenni Question about Server

Hi
I was wondering if you ever tossed around the idea of putting the forum and webtools on seperate servers while keeping the site intact. I guess this a dedicated server? This server slows down alot during most of the day and im sure your aware of that.
I was just thinking to myself that it would be nice to have this forum running at full speed. It sometimes can take over 30 seconds for a page to connect and start downloading.

I agree with that. When I try to connect in the evening (around 8PM Belgium Local Time) it is almost impossible to load the pages...

Yes
sometimes it just freezes.
I don't think its cause the forum
I think its cause the web tools.
I suggest it runs on different dedicated servers.

Two dedicated servers would run into alot of money. I would "think" that just the webtools would need to be on a dedicated and the rest of the site on a shared server.

It's not the web tools alone. It's due to the amount of people on the server at the same time. They are consuming too many mysql queries. The ram is used up, the swap is used up and the server begins to freeze.

I've brought a few GBs of ram so everything should be normal now.
