![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi, I could tell You the url, but I won't. Do You know why? Because that would harm Your site. Never ever add a site to search engines. Rather You should go for backlinks, many backlinks. If You have those links Your site will be indexed earlier than if You submit it to search engines. For first step You should make Your signature, containing the url. I' sure that in a few days it will be indexed. If You send the url in pm, or in a reply i will place it in my directory.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't know if submitting to SE's would necessarily harm your site, but it makes no difference. I have 2 sites, one of which I submitted, and it was indexed in about 4 days, and the other I didn't submit, and it was indexed within 2 days. I don't think SE's pay attention to the submissions, they look more at the popularity(IBL's), relevance and the originality of your site than the fact that it is just there. My advice, don't submit it. Find relevant sites that are willing to place a link to your site on their page. Submit your site to directories, lots of them. Here is a great starting place, click on the link below and get to submitting, it'll help to get you started. Good luck. Last edited 10-28-2006 at 11:52 AM. |

![]() | DON'T SUBMIT DIRECTLY!!!! Get a PR4/5 inbound link and google should find you within a few days. have you got a sitemap? Googlebot loves these, as it makes it's job so much easier. |

![]() | Are backlinks & reciprocal links the same to google. I was told the other day that google doesn't care about reciprocal links anymore. Google only support and acknowledge one way links. Could this be true? How could they have the technology to do this. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | No, that's not true. Google looks at the links pointing at your site, and the relevance of those links. Whether you give a link back to the site or not shouldn't make any difference at all. In fact, the entire point of Google looking at links is to try to determine the value of your site in reference to a particular search term in order to determine if your site offers information that will be helpful to the searcher, it has nothing to do with what pages you link to(unless you link to bad neighborhoods) |

![]() | I've also heard that sites found by Google organically rather than submitted are indexed faster and have a better SERP. I have a theory that since organically found sites are usually found via backlinks then the "votes" are counted at the same time your site is found and crawled rather than Google using your submission to link your site then finding the "votes" to raise your PR. Maybe I'm really off on this but this makes sense to me. To test this I also submitted a site then let Google find me via backlinks on PR4-7 directories I got listed in. The organically found sites were listed faster, the one I submitted is still awaiting inclusion in the search listings but I'm trying to catch up by doing the directory submissions daily.

![]() | What has really kick-started my traffic and I'm seeing the benefits slowly now is listing in SEO friendly directories with PR over 4. I went to http://www.directorycritic.com and started listed to niche directories in my field first then to the general ones. Only if a directory has a PR of 7 or over do I consider taking a paid listing with them to get on faster as high PR directories sometimes take a while to review your site. As my sites are slowly being listed I'm starting to see increases in traffic daily...still pretty small since my site is new but going up. Hope this helps.

![]() | When I first started my site I bought an inbound pr7 link for one month from adbrite for about $20. I was indexed by google, msn, yahoo and a BUNCH of other engines and dorectories within 36 hours and google gave me a page rank of 3 within a couple of months, that was like a year ago and I'm just now starting to promote and build links. So I think it was $20 well spent.

![]() | Hi there, I tried to look at your site...but could not get thru...did a search for the number of back links your site has...it showed only 6... I believe you should increase the number of back links to increase your PR... Get links from relevent sites...and if possible buy a few PR links... I think there is still some time to go for the next PR update ( just a guess )...u should see some rise in the PR in the next update.. Hope this helped.. ![]() |

![]() | Just buy a text link on a PR5 or 6 site and your site will be indexed in a few days. Getting good rankings is an entirely different matter.
