![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have noticed several times where I may have 3 or 4 clicks, but have made only .01 cent. Is it the same user clicking multiple ads? Or does google give away advertising on my site for so cheap that they can only afford to pay themselves? Also, as of today, I have had 28 referral clicks with only 1 conversion, and haven't made a penny from it. What are the odds that people are downloading software and installing it that they already had installed? I tried contacting google on this and the only thing that they do is use a AI program to read my mail, extract some keywords, and send me an email from their FAQ based on their query of my question. I am wondering if google is crooked. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Now here is a bit of interesting news. I have been watching and waiting for nearly 2 1/2 months for a referral to pay out. I posted this thread 2 hours and 20 minutes ago. I just went to my adsense account, and I just got through making .50 on a referral. What are the odds? |

![]() | Click Fraud is one of the hot topics in Web Marketing arena. Following is an article about Click Fraud - http://www.rankquest.com/blogs/archives/click-fraud-wrt-google-adwords-what-to-do-by-d-sarathy.html This article would give full perspective about Click Fraud, right from the definition of click fraud and it's sources. It also includes how to combat click fraud, which would help many users. It even covers what the Search Engines as well as the Publishers got to say about Click Fraud. D Sarathy. RankQuest |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm sorry, but I fail to see how mentioning click fraud is relevant to this thread. Unless someone is implying that I am commiting it myself, which of course if I were, I'd be making a hell of a lot more money. Oh, dsarathy, your messaged looks like SPAM because you mentioned the phrase "click fraud" 8 times in your short little post. I was tempted to just delete your post, but I didn't because perhaps there is someway that click fraud is relevant to what I have asked. So anyone, if you can tell me how this is relevant, I would appreciate it. |

| Senior Member | IMO, regardless of whether it is or isn't, it's good information to know because it's a threat. And we need to know about threats.

![]() | Hi Jumpen, Your concerns are valid. Your post rightly captures the mood of a site owner who feels that he/she is not being paid properly by Google for the activities that happened in his/her site. Through my post, I just wanted to highlight the mood of the Adword publisher who gets affected by Click Fraud and not knowing what to do next? Through your post you had rightly captured how Google answers through AI program. Through my post, I just wanted to share how the adwords publishers felt the same way about Google(as you had mentioned). Please do remember, in your case, you are raising concern for the money, which you should normally (logically) be getting from Google. However through Click Fraud, the publishers are raising concern over their money that is being spent unproductively by Google Adwords. Also as mentioned by Chulium, Click Fraud is a threat and since it is important, hot and burning topic, thought it would help lot of our users. If you still feel it to be irrelevant, please go ahead and remove it. Regards, D Sarathy. RankQuest PS : Oops! I tried my best to avoid the word ‘Click Fraud’ in my post, but ended up mentioning it 4 times. Hope you understand that it is not intentional ;~). |
