You'd be surprised. I was a paid poster for a short while, and there were 25 or 30 accounts. But in my opinion, it would be much better to get actual members to join in, the posts are more natural and it just seems more honest. | |

| Registered Member | It is difficult to get actual members to sign up onto your forum if you only have 10 or less posts. This is where paid posters come in hand, get your post count high and new visitors automatically assume your forum is busy and hence, join.

| Contributor | IMO, it is best to make the false posts yourself, the service that I posted for for instance didn't care about the quality of the posts so much as the quantity, all of the posters seemed to be guessing and trying to sound intelligent as opposed to trying to make natural postings. I did this for a friend once, only I took my time and posted intelligibly, and it got a pretty good responce, unfortunately, he gave it up after only a few weeks. I feel guilty about the thought of doing this in my own forum, but maybe I shouldn't. |

| Member Contributor | Well, I tried to do self-posting on my forums and I would like to say that it's a little bit crazy process. You write a question, then you answer it, than you and "3 you more" discuss the answer.... "Hello, my imaginary friends!". |

| Contributor | hehehe, I know, it sounds weird. Perhaps I could post on your forum and you could post on mine. And we could all post on iwebtool. Maybe, we as forum owners could trade posts for our new forums to bring some interesting and thoughtful posts to our sites, and as a benefit of doing so, thoughtful and interesting posts would be placed on our own forums. It's just a thought. |
