What kind of links you need?

For start promotion of your site you need to get some inbound links on some theme base directories. And simply it get index in google.

Yep! A lot of similar websites won't link to you out of generousity so try to come up with a link exchange and both parties will benefit.

You can also buy some good listing for directory and they will be good for your site.

I'd start with a few sitewide links to get indexed quickly. A lot of people still don't realize that they can get indexed in a couple of days or less by Google just by having a link on a site frequently visited by Googlebot.

I never came across this indexing problem. All my sites get indexed by google within a week. All i did is submitted to google and few directories. I didn't see any problem so far in indexed by google.
