Hi friends,

I have a web-portal having several pages ( more than 2, 00, 000 ). Can someone suggest me a best tool for making google sitemap and yahoo text urls in .gz format for this web-portal?

I have tried some available resources on internet but i am able to make sitemap for only 500 pages.

Please help!

Try default Google's Python sitemap generator. It's designed for high page amounts.

HI if you r using cms system driving by mysql and php ( or your site support php) i sussget you use the dynamic sitemap rewrite ..

this is the best tool i ever seen . no need to apache mod or any thing else ..
just php script
you download it and then change some fields of your data to much your web site.. if you familiar with php scripts you do it easylly..
put it on your web root then put one link from hompage to this ..
just look at my site on http://www.xaluan.com and at footer have link to http://www.xaluan.com/news.php

this will return in url and goole search some think like
http://www.xalulan.com/modules.php?name=News&file=categories&op=newindex&catid=9
be come http://192.168.1.1/news.php/news-view-228.html
so the end page now html goole frendly .. you can change it to gz as you like ..
--> never do make site map again .. this will do it all for you..
( please keep credit as the thank to original scripter and my small link as i fix lot of bug in this )

I use GSiteCrawler. It is a downloadable software. So it has no limits like any sitemap generators on the web.
