How to promote a newly website for Google

hello everybody,

first of all sorry for my english.

i know the directory submissions, link building, optimization etc for a website.

but i did it all when the half of work was done on those websites.

and i want to know that when i would be assinged a new website what are the steps or process to promote it whereas nothing work done on that website related to promoting it.

do i need to submit it to search engines first and then directories and so ..

pls what are the steps and if possible explain a bit that how to do that.

i will be back when i get the suggestions.

You don't really need to submit your site to any search engines. You should try to find sites with content similar or related to your content and try to get your links on those sites. Also, submit to directories and alot of them.

If you really want to know how to get better results, or at least try to improve those results and appear in Google quicker...buy the iWebTool SEO Checklist @ http://www.iwebtool.com/seo_checklist/.

I bought it a few weeks back and it is one of the best webmaster decisions I have ever made. Plus you get a link on their customers page (which is an extra back link, plus it helps SE's get to your site).

It would be a wise decision to make in my eyes.

Start with On Page optimization. Write unique content, title, meta tags with good interlinking.

get lots of links with the keyword you want to optimize for. and never try to start optimizing for the most searched keyword as this will be pretty hard. and by the way, if you need some links just contact me. i have a network of sites with more than 5000 pages indexed and on this pr update i'm getting 2x5PR and 5x4pr..

After you read it, follow the links to fortune interactive and read all 3 of their studies. It will tell you everything you need to know about how your pages are indexed and ranked on the SERP's.
