Hi there,

Wow, I haven't seen this thread for a while now...I manually code everything myself now. I actually find it a lot quicker. When I a working with php is the only time I use Dreamweaver, because it colours it and makes it easier on the eye.

I have found FrontPage to place loads of abundant code and folders in to your website folder...messy piece of software  .

Regards,
Kieran Taylor.

Dreamweaver seems to add less "automatic code" in your project. I like to have more control over the code and FrontPage just seems to take over.

For sure! The coloring of the code is very helpful and Dreamweaver is the next best thing to coding it yourself.

I use DW 8 for the most part, but last night I downloaded a trial version of AceHTML 6.5 pro to have a look at the php tools, so far I am impressed.

My experience with Frontpage, and this was a long time ago, because I won't even touch it now, is that it added a whole mess of extra crap to the code and almost doubled the page size in kb. Ridiculous. Never again. DW all the way.
