Generating Traffic

Hello All:

We are looking for sources of generic, untargeted traffic for sites.

Of course we are looking for the lowest price possible and we are looking for large volumes.

Anyone have any experience with any sources that were actually legitimate sources of generic untargeted REAL traffic?

have you tried Traffic Swarm? I get about 30 hits a day from them but you can upgrade to pro which I don't think cost much and get a lot more traffic. They also give you cash and/or credits if you refer other people down to 5 levels so if you are doing a lot of sites, you might be able to save money even more if done properly.

You've probably have heard this before but I'd recommend Search engine traffic

It's free and targeted. Instead of paying for traffic, pay for SEO.

The conversion rate of untargeted traffic is practically zero. You would be much better off paying for targeted traffic through CPC.

i dont quite understand the need for high volume untargeted traffic.
is it to increase your alexa ranking?

else you're paying for something that will bring you zero income.

unless i'm missing something...

There are many sites/businesses where every demographic is a target.

In these cases untargeted traffic is as valuable as targeted traffic. And it usually comes at a much lower price.

Just so we are clear here, untargeted traffic does not mean spam or unseen pop-unders. I am talking about generic traffic (maybe through CPC, maybe another model).

Most of the larger companies on the Web (eBay and Amazon are great examples) buy untargeted traffic all the time.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to buy junk traffic while you so you can get it for free (e.g. autosurf, etc.)?

Untargeted traffic is not "junk" traffic.

Untargeted is just what it says it is. Untargeted. Untargeted would be RON on Yahoo or RON on some other site or network.

Junk traffic is the land of click fraud, autosurf, etc.

you need traffic or visitors? you can use www.autohits.dk for traffic. and some of those who see the site might even perform an action. if you want visitors try some network ads on adengage, adbrite or any other site. www.etology.com has a 0.02 $/click rate on network ads. this way you'll get interested visitors
