 |  Keyword Ranking for google ...how. hi everyone, I have one quetions that does PR and Backlinks effect the keyword position for a website, because i have seen top ranking websites that don't have good pr and neither much backlinks. is it due to the content of a site, best optimization or any method used for the google. and if pr or backlinks makes the keyword ranking then how. pls someone help and responses will be appreaciated |

| Re: Keyword Ranking for google ...how. PR has nothing to do with serps, But backlinks do. If sites are ranking well with no backlinks then its probably because they are in an uncompetitive market. Ultimately to rank well you will need backlinks.

| Re: Keyword Ranking for google ...how. There is no reccomended number you should get. The idea is to get people to link to you because they like your content.. If google thinks you are manufacturing backlinks they will not see those links as being very important. So spend your time writing link worthy content and not spending it getting backlinks.
