![]() | I have parked a name which receives about 35 unique visits daily (Its a typo name) but it it hardly gets any click. Is there a way to increase the click ratio? or any other place to park which also pay for impressions?

![]() | You should make your own page. Get a free (ad-free) host and put up your own ads. It should work, but the only problem is the ads probably have nothing to do with the specific typo. That is why you should have your own ads |

| Regular Member | Dont worry about the noobie questions, we were all there at one point ![]() CPM = Cost per 1,000 impressions This means that you get paid a set amount (usually $0.02 - $0.10) each time you display an ad 1,000 times...regardless of whether or not your visitors click on the ads. Some CPM advertisers limit you according to unique visitors, but I'm not knowledgeable on it to tell you how that works :p

![]() | One thing you can do is adjust the ad placement as well as the ad coloration... this can have a trastic affect (both for better or for worse)

The problem with your situation and CPM might be that people viewing your site view the first page and that is all...CPM works well with sites that require a lot of navigating from page to page...because every time that banner is refreshed, you get paid for a view...If the banners are only being displayed once per visitor (like your site), earnings will be far lower

![]() | Thanks everyone for ideas. 2 cents per 1000 impressions is way too less. Is there any CPM program which pays at least half a dollar per 1000 impressions?

![]() | Alright if you want to earn something just from the views and do not care whether someone clicks or not, then try domainhop.com parked service (part of Kanoodle ads). I didn't like them as much as I like the other parked services, but they do pay just for the views alone. Some banner sites pay per view, but sometimes those have irritating banners or even worse yet Norton pops up and says that they found a bug so what good are they, not much. |

![]() | Interesting domaincrystal. I will have to check them out. Are they only paying 2 cents cpm though? I wouldn't mind putting some of my harder to pin-down sites on an impression based ad set up, but as others mentioned it can often be too little. |

| Junior Member | 35 unique visits daily ? is that a lot of traffic ? I am not mean but maybe I am off as standards ... When can you call "a lot of traffic" for a site ? |

![]() | 35 daily uniques isnt very much... you need to have targetted ads... find out what the users want and give them it ( in ads )namedrive.com allows you to change keywords by region as well as see what the visitors searched for and where they are from..
