Default Remotely Accessing MySQL Database?

Hi,

I want to access a MySQL database in a different Cpanel/hosting account altogether, both of them are under my juridsdiction, though, so I can set one to allow the other to access it.

How does this work?

Thanks,
-Matt

Hi there,

Don't you do it with a Remote Access key you get with cPanel? I'm sure you do, it usually looks like this:

Same server, under a reseller account I have with my web host.

So...

Webhost -> Reseller account -> (Account 1/Account 2)

I want Account 1 to access Account 2's MySQL databases

Kieran: I'm pretty sure that's for WHM, not CPanel...

Hi there,

Oh I though it worked for both...never mind. I know that it definitely works in WHM, but I though cPanel used a Remote Access Key too.

Kieran Taylor.
