Hello.

I would like to register a domain , a dotcom domain, and place some info on it .. it's not important... i can have the info done by a copywriter or whatever.

The question is : Can I get the domain to PR 10 within one year ? If yes, what budget should I have ? It's physically possible ?

Everything is possible.

But I'm not sure it's worth it. Budget will be too big.

www.yahoo.com is website number one in popularity, yahoo have 9 PR, google have 8 PR. And pr is not worthing the money needed to reach it.

Hi there,

To this in a year would be impossible. It would cost a lot of money and would not be possible within the time span. You would have to be potentially more popular than Yahoo! and Google.

If you do it within a year I will pay you to do it to my sites!

Concentrate on getting a decent PR, I mean MSN.co.uk is only on PR2.

I don't think it's possible. If you do manage to gather thousands of PR links, Google will probably penalize your website for having a very large increase in backlinks. So again, I don't think it's possible from Google's end.

If you want to have a "far target" - try to reach 10k backlinks shown by Google. This is much more intelligent and useful target.

It is not possible! Google also consider many factors like Age of Web Site and the time taken to build links. if you will try to build bulk links to get popular in a year, the site can be banned also....

Yeah.

There is no chance what so ever that a site can achieve PR10 in one year, Ethically or not.

Actually Google is Pagerank 10.

Hi,
I really don't think that is possible, maybe 5 or 6 is the best you can have in one year.
A 7 OR 8 PR is very hard and 9 or 10 i think it is really impossible.

The fastest PR10 I've ever seen is: http://www.gmail.com/. But then again Gmail has an advantage of being apart of Google's services so it's bound to grow quick.

Well... I think if you will have a really good legal site with something which will be interesting for a lot of people - you can get that "magic PR10" in one year.

Google updates PR 4 times a year: create a specific planning of boosting and make it step-by-step.

If you will not do anything bad - there will be no problem, I'm sure.

I dont think its possible.
For getting PR 10 , you need atleast 1 link from PR 10 website [as far as I think].
And you cant get links on PR 10 page. [there are only 2-3 I think , google.com , google.com/adsense , statcounter.com]
