 |  Yahoo Slurp! My site has been crawled & indexed by googlebot, askjeeves, alexa & msnbot but Yahoo Slurp! (Inktomi Slurp) hasn't crawled my site yet. Whats the best way to make Yahoo Slurp crawl my site?

| Re: Yahoo Slurp! Markk's tips are good. I always submit RSS feeds to Yahoo when sites have them. Also I have found their text sitemap to be very useful on sites where a lot of my pages were not getting indexed. It is really easy to set up and some of the google sitemap crawlers will even allow you to export in a Yahoo text format, making it fairly easy to get your pages listed by Yahoo! In one case I had a site I had a lot of trouble with and shortly after submitting the text map pages started getting indexed rapidly. Within a few weeks I had 800 pages in the index, while before I struggled for months to get any listed. |
