Default safe linking and external linking on this forum

Why do some people now have safe linking and some people have external linking in there sigs?

Whats the dif?
and how comes some people get one and some people get the other?

This might be a little helpful. Newer members, to my understanding, have rel="nofollow" added to their signature links, while older members do not.

I checked the source, they dont seem to have no flow if external, but safe links seem to have an extra tag (title=Safe linking), i couldnt see any other difference

If you have below 50 posts, all your links (including signature links) are marked with "External Linking" and have the nofollow attached. If you have 50 or more posts, the nofollow is removed and you have "Safe Linking". This is one way that spammers with little post do not benefit from the forums and only loyal members do.

yes your right, sorry i wasnt looking hard enough. What mod is this in VB, I have a vb board and would quite like to add this (currrently I have another mod for no-follow, that I willl take off)

Can anyone point me to this on the vbull forum or any other forum where they got this modification?
