 |  New Windows OS Who knows much about it? I hear its supposed to be more open source for geeks like us  Vote on the idea 1 - 10 *1 being ill never buy that crap and 10 being im already on the list to buy it  *ide give it an 8 because open source will probably be a lot easier to remove viruses worms ect. AND could bring software prices down for ease on making and maintaining it. http://rock.profusehost.net (my site) might air a Windows (os verison) reveiw once it come out so stay tuned o.O |

When it does come out it will probally be forever before i upgrade it took me 4 years to move up 98se to xp pro i dont realy care much for change! when it does come out i will probally upgrade just too have the latiest os but i will wait a couple years and let all the hackers and worm/virus writers find some of the major exploits that you know it will have.im sure the microsoft team will have tons of patches/updates to do the first couple years |

| Re: New Windows OS Microsoft + Open Source = NEVER! (It won't be open source, as usual...) Microsoft + Windows + New(Vista) = After 7 years of abandoning us Microsoft + Windows + Open To Public = $200 price tag in 2007 www.windowsvista.com Just get a mac.

| Re: New Windows OS By the way, the price for Vista was leaked a week or so back: it's not $200. It's $230, the same as Windows XP Home I think...
