i need an edge to get members who like chat, games, cool pictures...

marketing to teens 12 - 21 and after i get that crowd in expanding horizons

and good ideas on where to advertize for free?

i only get maybe 30 - 50 (unique) and am working for 1000 - 2000
I have another 4 years to go before i can sell advertizing (im only 14) but am getting help from people who do this for a living (aka many of you )

look for directories on sites that apeal to your taget group and advertise in them. also check out the forums on your taget groups sites. get to know them and then tell those whom seem interested about. that's the most direct approach i can think of. that and if you have many friends with websites with a similar taget crowed you could try having them post up something (even if temporarily) on their site directing people to yours.
