How many do you submit to?

Hi,

I am wondering how many directories you submit to? I think that their is an abundance of webmaster directories (which are free) and a lesser amount of other ones. I am trying to find ones in the music category, but all I find is one which you have to pay.

I submit to several whenever I come across them... I don't really have a list, but they're out there.

Try doing a search for free directories... you're bound to come up with something.

I really don't submit to all that many....I just dont think it's worth the trouble to go out and search for them to submit to...takes way too much time. I will submit to them as I come across them, but I'm not gonna go looking for them.

If anybody is interested, I've got a directory you can submit to - forums only though

I submit my sites to as many I have on my list and constantly add new directories as soon as I find them.

When i come across one i tend to add my link but i dont go searching for them. They have to have some seo work done to them aswell.

I submit to directories whenever I come across one too. You could try some of the directories listed here in case you don't want to search too far:

i have a list made now almost ready for free submission site with PR 3-4+

jus tgo to them one by one and do submission

list keeps growing also

When they're free I submit to them all assuming they're SEO friendly and Google has them indexed.

When they're paid I look at their traffic amount, if they're SEO friendly (static links), and the quality of the directory.

Oh, I'm also ashamed to admit i look at pagerank as well. hehe

I only submitted my link into three free directories. I haven't recieved any clicks from any of them yet

You should submit to as many as you can. I have submitted my site to so many directories. Most of them leave me nice PR back links.

I have a directory submission tool

. It is already full of all the links to them and adds your site automatically. Seems to work great.

many you spend the time to submit to don't even seem to be addign new ones. It ends up being a total waste of time.

I think DMOZ is run HORRIBLY. It's such a waste of resources and could be SOOOO much better.
